Khoury Industries Unveils The Patented ELI-1000

Full Product Release Scheduled For Mid Summer

 

            Bellingham, Mass. (April 23, 2009): Khoury Industries, a worldwide leader in thermal solutions for device characterization, thermal cycling and failure analysis, announced today the ELI-1000, a revolutionary temperature control system that combines a closed-loop thermal source and interchangeable custom/standard testing chamber into one compact, energy efficient system. The ELI-1000 is scheduled for a full commercial release this summer.

            “The ELI-1000 delivers controlled temperature with fast temperature transition times without the need for a compressed air source,” said Khoury Industries President Tony Khoury. “Not only is this new product accurate by ±.1ºC, but its quiet and it uses standard 110 voltage. The testing industry will now be able to focus on what their testing instead of putting so much energy into what they are using to test.”

            The patented technology in the ELI-1000 allows for a steady state operation with a heating/cooling system that can be operated and controlled independently of each other.  Other features of the ELI-1000 include:

            BELLINGHAM, MA (July 17, 2008): Hawk Electronics, Inc. of Wheeling, Illinois has tapped Khoury Industries to fulfill their thermal chamber requirements. Hawk Electronics, Inc., an electronic supplier/distributor with product lines ranging from slip rings, RF connectors, and wire protection to full-fledged power solutions, is the newest member of the Khoury Industries family and will supply the Khoury Box to an existing customer.

MPM Technologies Selects Khoury Box



           
Bellingham, MA (June 30, 2008): Khoury Industries, a worldwide leader in thermal testing solutions, announced today that the industry standard Khoury Box has been selected by MPM Technologies of State College, Penn., for their in-house experimental capabilities. Khoury Industries and MPM Technologies collaborated to customize the application to work with MPM Technologies’ unique testing requirements. For the first time, the Khoury Box will be designed for temperatures up to +400 degrees celsius.

            One of the world’s largest semiconductor companies, STMicroelectronics, recently awarded a contract to Khoury Industries for a thermal test fixture. STMicroelectronics’ products can be found in a wide range of applications as simple as DVD players, GPS systems, and cell phones to the more complicated and technology-driven wireless infrastructure equipment, imaging, cardiac rhythm management, and industrial applications. The Italian-based company needed a thermal solution that was first and foremost reliable. They also needed a system with fast temperature transitions. Khoury Industries Receives To Point AlfaLight

In Right Testing Direction

 

            Bellingham, MA (June 15, 2007): Alfalight, Inc., a technology innovator and manufacturer of highly efficient and reliable high-power diode lasers for industrial, defense, and telecommunications markets worldwide, recently awarded Khoury Industries a contract to provide their thermal test fixture needs. Khoury Industries will build a custom fixture utilizing fiber optic modules.

            Alfalight has exclusive license to patents that include high-power narrow-spectrum stabilized lasers, single-mode lasers, and short-wavelength lasers. Alfalight's current high-power diode laser product line includes free-space and fiber-coupled single emitters as well as fiber-coupled multi-emitter pump modules. Alfalight’s research and manufacturing had led to fundamental technology improvements.

The Boeing Company Returns To Khoury Industries For Testing Needs

 

            Bellingham, MA - January 22, 2007 - Khoury Industries announced today that they have been awarded a contract by The Boeing Company to produce a custom thermal test fixture to be used on parts for the U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptor fighter aircraft. Khoury Industries produces a wide variety of testing fixtures for the military, aerospace, communication, automotive, medical, and research industries. Their industry-leading Khoury Box ensures the reliability of industrial and electronic equipment through prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures. This contract was awarded after the success of a completed custom fixture in 2006.

            The F-22 is the world's first stealth air-to-air fighter and will replace the U.S. Air Force's fleet of F-15 fighters. The Air Force plans to procure 339 F-22s, and production is scheduled to run through 2013.

Cimtek Selects Khoury Industries For Thermal Test Fixture Design

Bellingham, MA (May 9, 2006): Khoury Industries, the worldwide leader in thermal test solutions, announced that they have been contracted by Cimtek, Inc., a leader in accelerating time-to-market through innovative test design of electronic products. Founder and head engineer, Tony Khoury, will help Cimtek improve the design of their critical thermal test fixtures, and enable them to put some of today's most in demand electronic products, such as the highly acclaimed Segway(r) and XBox 360(r), on the market.

Khoury Industries Secures Contract To Build

Thermal Test Fixtures For The F/A-22 Raptor

 

            Bellingham, MA (November 4, 2005): Khoury Industries has announced they will design and build thermal test fixtures for Boeing Corporation that will be used to test intricate parts for the highly renowned F/A-22 Raptor military aircraft.

            The F-22 program is developing the next-generation air superiority fighter for the Air Force to counter emerging worldwide threats. It is designed to penetrate enemy airspace and achieve a first-look, first-kill capability against multiple targets. The F-22 is characterized by a low-observable, highly maneuverable airframe; advanced integrated avionics; and aerodynamic performance allowing supersonic cruise without afterburner.

            Boeing is teamed with Lockheed Martin, Pratt & Whitney and the U.S. Air Force to develop the F/A-22 Raptor as a replacement for the F-15.  Boeing in Seattle, Wash., builds the Raptor’s wings and aft-fuselage, as is responsible for avionics integration and test, 70 percent of mission software, the pilot and maintenance training systems and the life-support and fire-protection systems.
